26th June Afternoon (Taka card holder day 2) Today pretty much same as the previous. Today what’s shocking is not about what happen at work. Rather the fact that my parents are back with a bad news. 8 days straight of working none stop. Reason? SCHOOL! Trying to push my off all to the last week. Never mind! I could really weight my eye bag. Well nothing special today. I today same shift as the person staying same block as me (wai then). When home with him. Seriously felt dam gay. It’s like sending a person home to directly the block some more taking the lift together...... Never mind at least laughter along the way. + One good news! There will be no school next week due to H1N1.

21th June Morning changed to afternoon Well I’ve guess prefer afternoon then morning. Still quite new with some staff. Therefore nothing to share with. Heard dennis is quitting a EX- colleague I know, he is 27 this year got his degree waiting for his job I guessed. Well anyway all the best in your future and your hopes! One thing I could say he is dam smart! Maybe I’m just too stupid to being with. Quiz (This is seriously a math question) Try it; there are four people going to an island in night time, only 1 torchlight is available. There is one bridge; the bridge can only withstand two people at one time. The question is how you bring all four people to the island in 17 minutes time. 1st people need 10 minute to cross 2nd people need 5 minute to cross 3rd people need 2 minute to cross 4th people need 1 minute to cross

19th June. Afternoon Holy! Today is extended hours! Shit! Means the store is closing at 10 = later go home! OMG! But never mind! Since is don’t dislike this job :). 17th of June HOLYYYYYSHIT! Today working! Morning shift! Die! Yesterday afternoon, today morning! This is the worst pair up shift you could ever had. Cause Afternoon shift you end work at 9.30 closing blah blah blah, customer this and that, dilly dally!@#$%. Around 11.00 then can go home. Next day Morning shift report work at 9.30am wake up at 8.30! woohoos! Don’t need sleep! But since I am enjoying I couldn’t even bother. This is actually much better then reporting for school at 8 in the morning(even though it’s just one day among the whole week) Morning, nothing interesting except the passage to WISMA shopping centre from Orchard MRT is open! Means there is no need for me to alight at Somerset anymore. When I know this I felt like how long I have been missing out at work. Cannot alight at Somerset make me realise something, I could no longer take Today newspaper for the night shift security anymore... Also we got to learn a new type of transaction as this time it’s the interior fair some item cannot be CC(Cash and Carry) Therefore this new transaction will allow the customer to have a copy of receipt in order to get the item later on. Then when the afternoon shift came, I was like FINALLY! Can go eat lunch my stomach is crying! OOoooo Then I realise I missed canteen sooooooooooooo much! Cheap, large serving and nice! After lunch is where I felt more “enlightened” when we got back to our cashier point I didn’t know most of the temp-staff so starting wasn’t so “fun” but slowly one accident arise! I get to know one of the temp-staff male, wang quan, 23 this year, university. I was like WOW uni! Then slowly we start our “ice-breaker”. Guess what? None of them got my age straight on! All thought I was 19 ++. Well couldn’t expect much from the eye bag. Then there was this moment Wang Quan picked up a call during those “free” period then there was this girl name Pei Yan ask “who call?” Wang replied “Somebody, no idea who” Pei Yan say “what if he/she need you to do something?” Wang “ Ya, I said I’m not free”, Pei Yan “ But you seems to me like you very GOT KONG” Then there was this sudden burst of laughter! Because during the ice-breaker I said she looks like a dropout age around 17 to 19. Then she stares at me and say. I am 22 this year and I am studying at NUS now! (Got the irony? If not too bad!) LOL. From then she was call GOT KONG even until this very moment by me. The laughter that time was one of the best moments! Okay that’s for 17th of June.

First thing first. Pardon me for the English mistake in this blog.
16th of June YES! Finally able to work again. I did some thinking before starting the work. Which is whether I could get use to the environment not, cause it could prove me whether I really did enjoy work or is it because of last time the batch of temp staff. Ya! So continue the blogging. Today is a set up day, therefore there will be no cashiering and it’s on the afternoon. Taka have five different type of shift for temp-staff (Morning, afternoon, PH, rest, off). Morning report at 9.30, Afternoon report at 12.30, PH 2x pay, rest and off would be the same. It will just be setting up racks and stuff, also since today is the first day of work I will get to know new staff and temp staff! Excited! Since 16th is a Tuesday I could get the ride to work with sat in the MRT cause usually on weekdays. Because there will be extra MRT on weekdays on the center lane of Ang Mo Kio MRT station, I’m not sure why but since they have it might as well take it! When I reach the MRT station I saw the train hence I ran in order to get to board on the train. When I reach the inside taking a breath and walk to the end of the train. Someone purposely trip me! I was like WTF? Then when I turn behide he’s one of my ex-colleague trying to get my attention because I am so rush. Then we had our long chat of the stuff I miss during my school days. What I am sad the most is all the said to be most beautiful in the previous fair all stop working!@#$%. Anyway we reach taka and reported to HR while waiting for the senior staff to come pick us up I saw alot of temp staff only 2 familiar face.. After bullshitting this and that, first day suck! Didn’t get to know all of them because they all chat among themselves. But there was this temp-staff name veronica. Who is also new here came to chat with me I’m pleased cause she quite pretty! HAH ! Get to know I have three supervisors! Retail advisors if you prefer called Sam, Sherwin, Stewart. Sam is new came taka only on the 15th. That’s all for today! K BYE!
